SOME HISTORY...
Richard G. Berry is the Principal Designer and founder of Residential Design Studio. Richard graduated from California Polytechnic State University - San Luis Obispo's College of Architecture, with a degree in City and Regional Planning. He possesses more than 30 years of design and construction experience specializing in exquisite residential projects. In the 1990’s, while serving as chief designer and project manager for a top design/build firm in Fort Worth, Texas, he forged his reputation as a premier residential design artist in the southern and southeastern states and is the recipient of numerous design and construction awards. Richard’s designs have been featured in trade publications, magazines, and home shows. He is regularly called upon to judge in "Street of Dreams" competitions and other home tours. Richard formed Residential Design Studio, his own company, in 2002. RDS' background is that of a full-service design, construction, and owner representation firm. Born in the bustling Texas home construction market, RDS has also executed projects in neighboring states and along the coast of California. Residential Design Studio projects span a wide array of styles and architectural themes; conveying the spirit and invoking the construction methods unique to each design.
